Pandemic Influenza Planning
Preparing at the Local Level
Limited amounts of H1N1 vaccine have started to arrive in Tulsa. Unfortunately at this time, there is not a large enough supply to make H1N1 vaccine available to the general public. It is anticipated that by the end of October there could be enough supply in the Tulsa community to broaden the scope to those outside of the high risk categories. Please continue to check this web site and listen to local media reports for the latest information on H1N1 vaccine availability .
At this time the Tulsa Health Department will offer H1N1 vaccine free of charge as outlined below:
Pregnant women and children ages 5 years old - 18 years old with chronic health conditions will be able to receive the H1N1 vaccine in the injectable format on Wednesday, October 14th - Friday, October 16th at the James O. Goodwin Health Center located at 5051 S. 129th E. Avenue, Tulsa, OK from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on a walk-in basis.

We encourage members of our community to review the checklists below for guidance on how to prepare in advance.
