Dabei werden die Eileiter jedes Hodens abgeklemmt, durchtrennt oder auf andere Weise versiegelt, damit sich die Spermien mit der Samenfl\u00fcssigkeit vermischen k\u00f6nnen. Eine Vasektomie wird erst wirksam, wenn alle vorhandenen Spermien au\u00dferhalb der Vasektomiestelle entfernt wurden. Es kann noch zu einer Schwangerschaft kommen, bis die Spermienzahl bei Null liegt. Vasektomien sch\u00fctzen nicht vor sexuell \u00fcbertragbaren Krankheiten oder
