Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The forum will delve into the complex interplay between generational trauma, epigenetics and substance use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSubstance use can have a devastating impact on individuals, families and communities,&#8221; said THD Prevention Specialist Netta Jamieson. &#8220;This forum will explore the potential links between past experiences and present behaviors, empowering participants to understand the cycle and identify pathways to healing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about practical strategies for prevention and recovery. The forum will include a panel featuring experts from various fields, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marcus Anderson, Associate Director of the Office of Maternal and Child Health at the Tulsa Health Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heather Peters-Ebel, Recovery Support Specialist at Grand Mental Health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Larry Harris, President at 100 Black Men of Tulsa, Inc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amberly Villegas, Street Outreach Coordinator at Youth Services of Tulsa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Service providers and professionals who provide services to marginalized communities are encouraged to attend. Family members, friends and anyone interested in learning more about the impact of generational trauma and the development of substance use disorders are invited to attend as
