TULSA, OK \u2013 [April 26, 2022] \u2013 The Tulsa Health Department is resuming clinical services at its North Regional Health and Wellness Center, 5635 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. on April 27th after a temporary modification of services due to the COVID-19 response.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are pleased to resume clinical services at a convenient location for our North Tulsa community,\u201d said THD Division Chief of Preventive Health, Priscilla Haynes.<\/p>\n
Bilingual public health nurses are available to serve Spanish-speaking clients.<\/p>\n
Appointments for Family Planning services and STD testing can be made by calling (918) 582-9355. Routine immunization appointments can be made online. COVID-19 vaccination appointments are available through the OSDH Vaccine Portal.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs with other diseases, you are protected best from COVID-19 when you stay up to date with recommended vaccines,\u201d said Haynes.<\/p>\n
In January, THD announced the expansion of medical services coming soon at the department\u2019s North Regional Health and Wellness Center with a partnership with Crossover Community Impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Crossover Health Services, a division of Crossover Community Impact, occupies the clinical space previously utilized by the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and provides comprehensive health care services for adults and children.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cOur staff is off to a great start providing high-quality primary care at the North Regional Health and Wellness Center,\u201d said Crossover Health Services Dyad Clinical Director, Dr. J. Tyler Whitaker. \u201cWe are also excited about the addition of new providers to our team in the near future which will increase our capacity to serve more patients in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their primary care clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance, and serves self-paying clients. Services include routine check-ups, physical examinations, health screenings, lab testing, acute and chronic care, and women\u2019s health services. Their clinic is open and accepting clients.<\/p>\n
\u201cAccess to quality health care is a critical need in the north Tulsa community,\u201d said THD Chief Operating Officer Reggie Ivey. \u201cWe are excited to have Crossover Health Services at our North Regional Health and Wellness Center and serving the community together through preventive health services and exceptional medical care.\u201d<\/p>\n
