April 2012, ihre fotografischen F\u00e4higkeiten in einer Sonderausstellung mit dem Titel \u201eFlash Focus: Ein Fotodokumentationsprojekt \u00fcber Gesundheit aus der Perspektive der Jugend von Tulsa\u201c unter Beweis stellen von 19:30 bis 22:30 Uhr in der Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, 111 East 1st Street, Tulsa, OK.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Die diesj\u00e4hrige Ausstellung konzentriert sich auf den Zusammenhang zwischen gesundheitlichen Ungleichheiten und \u201eLebensmittelw\u00fcsten\u201c oder Gebieten innerhalb der Gemeinde Tulsa, in denen es schwierig ist, bezahlbare, gesunde Lebensmittel zu bekommen. Lebensmittelw\u00fcsten werden mit negativen Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit in Verbindung gebracht, darunter Fettleibigkeit und Diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eLeider gibt es in unserer Gemeinde viele Bewohner, die nur begrenzten Zugang zu frischen Produkten und gesunden Lebensmitteln haben. Wir hoffen, dass dieses Projekt die Aufmerksamkeit auf das Problem lenken kann, indem es die Bereiche hervorhebt, in denen die Menschen am meisten Hilfe ben\u00f6tigen.\u201c erkl\u00e4rte Dr. Bruce Dart, Direktor des Gesundheitsministeriums von Tulsa.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kosten f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung betragen $15 und Tickets k\u00f6nnen telefonisch bei Beverly Baul (918) 595-4455, Marnie Jackson (918) 595-4471 oder Liz Narcomey (918) 595-4224 erworben werden.
