Es erf\u00fcllt mich mit gro\u00dfer Zufriedenheit, wenn ich mit Klienten \u00fcber ihre Erkrankungen spreche und ihnen wichtige Informationen zu ihren Erkrankungen gebe. Als Epidemiologe untersuche ich Krankheitsausbr\u00fcche und arbeite mit meinem Team zusammen, um die Krankheit einzud\u00e4mmen und die Gesundheit der Bev\u00f6lkerung zu sch\u00fctzen. F\u00fcnf der am h\u00e4ufigsten gemeldeten Darmerkrankungen sind Salmonellose, Shigellose, Shiga-Toxin produzierende E. coli (STEC), Campylobacteriose und Kryptosporidiose. Diese spezifischen bakteriellen Erkrankungen werden durch kontaminierte Lebensmittel und Wasser, durch Kontakt mit Tieren oder deren Umgebung, durch Kontakt mit dem Kot einer infizierten Person und auf andere Weise \u00fcbertragen. Meine Aufgabe besteht darin, \u00dcberwachungs-, Untersuchungs- und Forschungsarbeiten durchzuf\u00fchren, um Ursachen und Quellen zu identifizieren und Pr\u00e4ventionsma\u00dfnahmen f\u00fcr diese bakteriellen Infektionen zu ergreifen. Meine Aufgabe, die Krankheit zu untersuchen, erf\u00fclle ich dadurch, dass ich mit den Patienten interagiere, die Ursachen identifiziere, wie und wo sie sich die Krankheit zugezogen haben k\u00f6nnten, und die H\u00e4ufigkeit messe. Ich kl\u00e4re die betroffene Person auch \u00fcber diese Darmerkrankungen auf, um mich auf vorbeugende Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Verbesserung der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheitssicherheit und zur Eind\u00e4mmung einer weiteren Ausbreitung der Krankheit zu konzentrieren.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enteric disease is one of my favorite topics in the field of Epidemiology.
