Obwohl es viele verschiedene Formen der \u00dcberwachung gibt, nutzen THD-Epidemiologen die sogenannte Syndrom\u00fcberwachung. Bei der Syndrom\u00fcberwachung handelt es sich um die Erhebung von Gesundheitsdaten aus Krankenh\u00e4usern in der Umgebung.
