Tanto si manipula alimentos como si viaja con frecuencia, tener las manos limpias es fundamental para su seguridad y la de los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enfermedades transmitidas por los alimentos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Salmonella, E. coli y Norovirus son pat\u00f3genos que pueden causar enfermedades transmitidas por los alimentos, pero son causados por microorganismos diferentes y tienen caracter\u00edsticas distintas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Salmonela<\/strong>:Se trata de un tipo de bacteria que se encuentra com\u00fanmente en las carnes crudas, especialmente las aves, los huevos y, a veces, las frutas y verduras. Provoca s\u00edntomas como diarrea, calambres abdominales, fiebre y v\u00f3mitos. En casos graves, la Salmonella puede provocar complicaciones m\u00e1s graves, en particular en ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os, ancianos o personas con sistemas inmunitarios debilitados.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>E. coli (Escherichia coli)<\/strong>: <em>E. coli<\/em> es un grupo de bacterias, algunas de las cuales son inofensivas, mientras que otras pueden causar enfermedades graves. La cepa m\u00e1s preocupante es <em>E. coli<\/em> O157:H7, que se puede encontrar en carne molida poco cocida, productos agr\u00edcolas contaminados y leche o jugos no pasteurizados.
