TULSA, OK \u2013 [February 8, 2016] \u2013\u00a0The Tulsa Health Department\u2019s Environmental Health Services program is encouraging Tulsa residents to love their neighborhood this February. Do you see a house in your neighborhood that needs attention? Do you drive past a house that makes you wonder if the people living there need assistance? Do you know people living with no water, no heat, or no electricity? One call could save a life.<\/p>\n

THD inspects existing structures within Tulsa city limits to ensure and enforce certain minimum building standards that must be in place if the structure is occupied or used. These standards include requirements pertaining to sanitation, maintenance, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, and more.<\/p>\n

THD also responds to complaints pertaining to landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities, as established in the\u00a0Oklahoma Non-Residential\/Residential Landlord and Tenant Acts.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll conduct an on-site inspection, if necessary, or refer you to the right course of action.
