Utilizando un m\u00e9todo llamado \u201cb\u00fasqueda\u201d, las garrapatas se encuentran en el pasto alto y en \u00e1reas boscosas y se agarran a los transe\u00fantes cuando los rozan. As\u00ed es, \u00a1no saltan ni vuelan!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Las garrapatas son muy peque\u00f1as: \u00a1muchas personas no se dan cuenta cuando una llega a usted o a su mascota! Aunque son peque\u00f1os, pueden transmitir y transmitir enfermedades f\u00e1cilmente prevenibles.<\/p>\n<p>Las enfermedades m\u00e1s comunes que transmiten las garrapatas en Oklahoma son la fiebre maculosa de las Monta\u00f1as Rocosas y la ehrlichiosis, las cuales pueden causar fiebre, n\u00e1useas, dolor de cabeza y erupciones cut\u00e1neas.
