Cela me procure un grand sentiment de satisfaction lorsque je parle aux clients de leur maladie et que je leur fournis des informations importantes sur leur maladie. En tant qu&#039;\u00e9pid\u00e9miologiste, j&#039;enqu\u00eate sur les \u00e9pid\u00e9mies et je collabore avec mon \u00e9quipe pour contenir la maladie afin de prot\u00e9ger la sant\u00e9 publique. Cinq des maladies ent\u00e9riques les plus fr\u00e9quemment signal\u00e9es sont la salmonellose, la shigellose, l&#039;E.coli productrice de shigatoxines (STEC), la campylobact\u00e9riose et la cryptosporidiose. Ces maladies bact\u00e9riennes sp\u00e9cifiques sont contract\u00e9es par des aliments et de l&#039;eau contamin\u00e9s, par contact avec des animaux ou leur environnement, par contact avec les excr\u00e9ments d&#039;une personne infect\u00e9e et par d&#039;autres moyens. Mon travail consiste \u00e0 mener des surveillances, des enqu\u00eates et des recherches pour identifier les causes et les sources, et \u00e0 agir sur les mesures de pr\u00e9vention de ces infections bact\u00e9riennes. J&#039;accomplis mon travail d&#039;enqu\u00eate sur la maladie en interagissant avec les patients, en identifiant les causes de comment et o\u00f9 ils ont pu contracter la maladie et en mesurant l&#039;incidence.
