Apache Street. Parking is available in lots 5, 6 and 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is designed to honor and support expectant parents and families with children under one year old who reside in North Tulsa zip codes 74106, 74110, 74115, 74116, 74117, 74126, 74127 and 74130.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The North Tulsa Community Baby Shower will provide valuable resources, education and celebratory activities in a fun and welcoming environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect with local agencies and health care providers offering parenting support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend educational sessions on topics such as infant safe sleep, a key effort to reduce infant mortality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in fun activities and enjoy delicious food.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive prizes, diapers, wipes, clothing and other giveaways to prepare their homes for their new baby.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sample delicious mocktails and receive recipe cards from Tulsa\u2019s Stop DUI Task Force in coordination with THD&#8217;s Regional Prevention Coordinator program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the Fatherhood Hub, a dedicated area for fathers with resources especially for them, to reinforce the role dads have in their baby\u2019s life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis event is a cornerstone of our community outreach, providing critical health information and support to north Tulsa families,\u201d said Community Systems Development Specialist Angela Jackson. \u201cIt&#8217;s not just a baby shower; it&#8217;s a celebration of new life and a commitment to ensuring every child in our community has a healthy start.
