The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase customized mocktails crafted specially by the staff at Elote Caf\u00e9 &amp; Catering. Community partners from the Stop DUI Task Force will be present with resources and information to prevent alcohol abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to partner with Mothers Against Drunk Driving for this family-friendly, fun-filled evening,\u201d said THD prevention Specialist Kandice Lawson. \u201cWe hope we can continue to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving, while providing fun and delicious non-alcoholic beverage choices. Whether you&#8217;re a fan of fruity flavors or prefer a tangy twist, Elote&#8217;s talented mixologists will create the perfect mocktail to suit your taste buds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>According to the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office, there were 150 alcohol-related crashes in Tulsa County in 2021, resulting in 33 people being killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Health officials encourage the community to explore delicious mocktails as alternatives to alcohol, and if you do consume alcohol to find a safe ride instead of choosing to drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The StopDUI Task Force recently joined forces with the THD substance abuse prevention program to host a Valentine\u2019s Day mocktail tutorial on Facebook Live.
