With more than 200 food booths to inspect, THD&#8217;s dedicated team is working hard behind the scenes to make sure every bite is a safe one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THD&#8217;s team of food inspectors will be on-site every day of the fair. They will perform hundreds of food safety checks and offer hands-on education for vendors, focusing on safe food handling and proper handwashing. This comprehensive approach has a proven track record of protecting the public and ensuring compliance with state food safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, THD inspectors will log more than 520 hours and complete an estimated 600 inspections during the fair&#8217;s 11-day run. The agency\u2019s goal is to ensure every food booth earns its official THD sticker, which signals to fairgoers that the location has met safety standards to receive a license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work at the Tulsa State Fair is a key part of THD&#8217;s larger mission to safeguard public health across Tulsa County.
