Greenwood Ave., on May 21st for the 8th annual \u2018Make It Your Business\u2019 employee health and wellness conference. Hosted by the Tobacco Free Coalition for Tulsa County, the conference will help local employers and organizations understand what it takes to create and implement an effective wellness program, how to create a culture of health, and how to inspire and engage their workforce toward behavior change.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProperly designed health promotion programs can positively impact an organization\u2019s bottom line,\u201d said Vice-Chair for the Tobacco Free Coalition for Tulsa County Gabrielle Harmening. \u201cAttendees will benefit from the wide variety of speakers and breakout sessions and will leave with the resources, materials and strategies necessary for developing healthy cultures within their workplace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This year, the conference will feature two keynote speakers: Oklahoma State University Chief Wellness Officer Suzy Harrington, and Human Resources Institute, LLC, President Judd Allen, Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p>Employers of any size are encouraged to register online for the conference at\u00a0www.miyb.myevent.com. Human resource personnel, employee relations committees, wellness and prevention coordinators, productivity managers, and human resource consultants will greatly benefit from attending. Online registration ends May 20; however, attendees can still register in person on the day of the event. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and a copy of Dr. Steven G.
