This training, facilitated by the Child Advocacy Network, helps participants better understand their responsibilities as mandated reporters, recognize potential signs of child abuse and access resources for making a report.
When concerns about child abuse or neglect arise, knowing what to do next isn’t always straightforward. This training provides an overview of how to recognize signs of child maltreatment, respond appropriately to concerns, and understand reporting responsibilities. Participants will also gain a brief introduction to the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) model, and the collaborative approach used to support child victims and their families.
