St. Patrick’s Day Mocktail Recipes

In advance of St. Patrick’s Day, the Tulsa Health Department’s substance abuse prevention program and the StopDUI Task Force are encouraging residents who consume alcoholic beverages to do so safely or try a fun mocktail instead.

The StopDUI Task Force joined forces with the THD substance abuse prevention program to host a March -heme mocktail tutorial on Facebook Live on Thursday, March 14. Eric Kirby and Injury Prevention and Nurse Educator at Ascension St. John Jami Spradlin.

Luck of the Task Force

Ingredients:

  • 40 oz lemon lime soda
  • 16 oz lemonade
  • 8 oz apple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon gold luster dust

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients into a large punch bowl, add gold luster dust last and stir. Enjoy!

Pucker Up

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Sprite
  • 2 oz lemonade
  • 2oz cranberry juice
  • 1cup of ice
  • 1 lime

Directions:

  • This drink can be blended like a slushie!
  • Combine all ingredients into blender and squeeze lime on top, then blend!
  • Take you cup and rub lime around rim, then dip rim of cup in sugar for added fun!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Ingredients:

  • One 2 liter bottle of Sprite
  • One 64 oz bottle of orange juice
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lime

Directions:

  • Combine all of these ingredients into a large punch bowl, think of this as a mimosa without the champagne!
