Safe and readily available water is important for public health, whether it is used for drinking, domestic use, food production or recreational purposes.
If you have concerns about your public or private water, you may have your water tested for a fee. You must get a bottle from THD’s Water Lab before collecting any samples. Our Water Lab can only accept samples collected in approved containers. Samples collected in drinking water bottles, mason jars, etc will not be accepted.
Please keep the collected water samples on ice and return them to the lab promptly for the best results.
For bacteria testing, drinking water samples must be returned within 30 hours of the collection time.
The quality and safety of our drinking water supply is a foremost priority at THD. That is why THD operates its own in-house laboratory providing both bacteriological and chemical water quality testing for contaminates such as heavy metals, minerals and other impurities.
Find our Water Lab located at our James O. Goodwin Health Center, 5051 S. 129th East Ave, Tulsa, OK.
