Important Protection Against Disease

Immunizations are key to promoting a healthier community by helping prevent or lessen the severity of certain diseases. They cost less than disease treatment, are recommended by health care providers, and are often required prior to attending school or child care.

THD provides age-appropriate immunizations according to recommended guidelines for children and adults, including flu vaccinations. It is recommended to have your immunization records with you when you come in.

Adult Immunizations

Adults need to keep their vaccinations up to date because immunity from childhood vaccines can wear off over time. You are also at risk for different diseases as an adult. Vaccination is one of the most convenient and safest preventive care measures available.
