THD is excited to introduce our new Public Health Mobile Clinic Van — a state-of-the-art healthcare solution designed to bring free, essential medical services to our community. Our mobile clinic is fully equipped to provide a wide range of healthcare services, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they need, no matter where they live. Our Mobile Clinic travels throughout Tulsa County visiting various neighborhoods, school, and community centers. No appointment required. We’re excited to be a part of your health journey, and empower Tulsa County to make healthy choices.

What We Offer

Our Public Health Mobile Clinic Van provides a variety of services, including but not limited to:

Adult Immunizations: Routine vaccinations for adults, including flu shots and other preventative vaccines.
Chronic Disease Management: Monitoring and support for conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
Health Screenings: Blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings to help identify potential health risks early.
Maternal and Child Health Services: Assistance with SoonerCare Enrollment and WIC services.
Health Education and Resources: Providing you with the information, tools and friendly advice you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Referrals to Specialized Care: When more advanced care is needed, we offer referral services to trusted specialists, hospitals and healthcare providers. Our team will work with you to ensure that you receive the right care, at the right time and in the right place.

Immunizations Needed

Adults need to keep their vaccinations up to date because immunity from childhood vaccines can wear off over time. You are also at risk for different diseases as an adult. Vaccination is one of the most convenient and safest preventive care measures available.

Insurance

While this mobile clinic is available to offer services at no cost to those without insurance, THD currently accepts Cigna, Community Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Choice, Medicare and SoonerCare Medicaid for immunizations. Coverage can vary among different insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID with you. It is always advisable to check with your insurance provider for coverage specifics before receiving immunizations, as you may be responsible for charges that are not covered by your insurance policy. A fee will be charged for clients with private insurance (other than those listed above) to be immunized at THD clinics in order to cover the cost of the vaccine.
