Healthy Classrooms and Disease Prevention Strategies

Monthly THD Epidemiology Blog

Educators, We Appreciate You! 📝
It’s Back to School!  Thank you to all the amazing teachers who joined the Tulsa Health Department’s Epidemiology Program at the Discovery Lab’s Educator Appreciation Night on August 8, 2024!

We had a fantastic time discussing healthy classrooms and disease prevention strategies with nearly 350 passionate educators. Our teachers participated in a quiz game center on diseases of all kinds, a “Don’t Bug Me” booth for access to all things Louie, and a “go-fish” game to build awareness around emergency preparedness.  Your commitment to fostering safe and clean learning environments for students truly inspires us!
