Health Education

The Tulsa Health Department’s School Health program provides engaging, skills-based health education in elementary schools to help students build lifelong healthy habits and make informed decisions for their well-being.

This three-part health series teaches elementary students essential skills in accessing accurate and reliable health information, making healthy decisions and practicing healthy behaviors.

This stand-alone goal-setting lesson, Movement and Learning, helps students practice setting goals while engaging in fun, classroom-friendly activities that combine movement with core academic learning.

Cooking Club is an after-school program that School Health supports by providing curriculum and equipment, allowing schools to facilitate hands-on lessons where students learn about the food groups and make healthy recipes.
