At THD, we encourage you to take an active role in your personal health and well-being – if not for yourself, then for those who love you. Our programs and services for adults can help by keeping you informed, identify health problems early on and empower you to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Family Planning

THD offers comprehensive family planning services, including physical examinations, laboratory services, pregnancy testing, contraceptives, counseling, and referrals for other THD and community services. Our staff and health care providers speak English and Spanish, and are here to listen as well as counsel.

Vasectomy

A vasectomy is a procedure a man may undergo to achieve what is considered to be permanent birth control. It entails clamping, cutting or otherwise sealing the tubes from each testicle that allow sperm to mix with seminal fluid.

Pregnancy Testing

THD provides confidential pregnancy testing on a sliding scale fee-for-service with results provided at the time of your visit.

Health Screenings

THD helps to promote and maintain adult health by providing breast exam checks, pap smears and screenings for the several conditions at a minimum cost.

Physical Exam

Physical exams are an important part of family planning. They let your health care provider determine whether you may receive a prescription for certain methods of birth control, or help you prepare for a healthy pregnancy.
