Travel Immunizations

International travel may increase your chances of getting and spreading diseases that are rare or not found in United States. Make sure to get the recommended vaccinations for your area of travel to help you stay healthy on your trip. Overseas Immunizations are only available at our North Regional Health & Wellness location.

Clinic Services

THD offers recommended immunizations for children and adults traveling abroad. Our knowledgeable staff can also provide consultation regarding pertinent health information for your specific travel plans. A Spanish-speaking interpreter is available.

Yellow Fever
THD is a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) certified Yellow Fever immunization provider. Included in the cost of the immunization is the required “yellow book” certificate for documentation of travel immunizations.

Cost

THD accepts most insurance plans. It is always advisable to check with your insurance provider for coverage specifics before receiving travel immunizations as you may be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance policy.

Please bring your insurance card and photo ID with you to your appointment. Payment is due at time of service. Cash, check or most major credit cards accepted. A consultation fee of $40 per family will be assessed.

BEFORE TRAVEL

Make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine vaccines. Routine vaccinations protect you from infectious diseases such as measles that can spread quickly in groups of unvaccinated people. Many diseases prevented by routine vaccination are not common in the United States but are still common in other countries. Schedule a routine immunization appointment with THD online or over the phone at 918-582-9355.

Check CDC’s destination pages for travel health information. Check CDC’s webpage for your destination to see what vaccines or medicines you may need and what diseases or health risks are a concern at your destination.
