Why Vaccinate

We understand that you might have questions and maybe even some anxiety when it comes to considering immunizations for your children which is why we’re here. We want to provide you with the most current, proven medical information available regarding vaccines while also addressing any concerns that come to mind. That way, you can make your decision with confidence knowing you are doing everything you can to protect your children.

What to bring

Please bring a current immunization record, photo ID and insurance card. For children’s immunizations, a parent or legal guardian must be present. You will be asked to fill out a Immunization form which you can fill out before you arrive to make your visit faster.

Pricing and Insurance

Children through age 18 years are eligible to receive vaccines at no charge through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program if any of the following apply: they are uninsured Medicaid eligible, Native American Indian, Native Alaskan, or their insurance policy does not cover vaccines. Infants, children and adolescents must be accompanied by their parent or guardian to receive immunizations.

Insurance

THD accepts Cigna, Community Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Choice, Medicare and SoonerCare Medicaid for immunizations. Coverage can vary among different insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID with you. It is always advisable to check with your insurance provider for coverage specifics before receiving immunizations, as you may be responsible for charges that are not covered by your insurance policy. A fee will be charged for clients with private insurance (other than those listed above) to be immunized at THD clinics in order to cover the cost of the vaccine.

Other ways to get the required vaccinations

Immunizations are available by appointment at the THD clinics listed below. Please bring a current immunization record and your insurance card. For children’s immunizations, a parent or legal guardian must be present. We ask individuals arrive as close to their scheduled appointment time as possible. When you arrive at your appointment, you’ll be asked to fill out an Immunization Form with some basic information about the patient. You can fill the form out before you arrive to make your visit faster.
