Food Permits & Inspections

Food Protection Service Program’s goal is to improve Tulsa County’s health by providing safe food handling education and reducing food-borne illness risk factors.

Food Safety Classes, Study Guides & Permits

Food safety training assures that the permit holder understands the importance of good hygienic practices and that they have knowledge on how to protect food against contamination. Local city ordinances require that food workers have a valid food permit from THD in their possession while at work.

Food Service and Restaurant Industry Resources

At THD, we work together with the food service industry to help ensure safe dining experiences for a healthier community.

Restaurant Inspections and Permits

Our professional staff conducts routine inspections at all restaurants in our community. As a service to the public, we regularly post the results of these inspections to assist consumers in being well-informed as to conditions observed on the day of inspection.

Restaurant Complaints

Your input and concerns are important to THD. If you saw or experienced possible unsafe food-handling practices or unhealthy conditions, please complete and submit this complaint form.
